OBD-II/CAN Interface for Dakota Digital Gauges
Item Number: CK-16002The BIM-01-2 from Dakota Digital is designed to decode the information provided by the ECM through OBD-II and supply this information to the GRFX, RTX, HDX, VHX and VFD3 systems with a control module. Earlier instrument systems with an aluminum control module are not capable of BIM connectivity. The BIM-01-2 is designed for J1850 and CAN OBD-II protocols only. Compatible with OBD-II protocols SAE J1850 VPW, SAE J1850 PWM and ISO 15765 CAN 500k 11 bit identifiers that follow the SAE J1979 PID protocol. GM Connect & Cruise packages do not transmit the gear position data, preventing the BIM-01-2 from acquiring this information!
