Engine Oil Cap (Carbon) 97-15 LS1/LS2/LS3/LS7/LS9/LSA
Item Number: 4AC-12027VMS Racing Billet Aluminum Oil Caps are made of High Quality Aircraft T6061 Billet Aluminum and then ANODIZED for a long lasting and durable finish. Chrome plated caps are triple chrome plated. The oil cap also includes a high quality VITTON rubber gasket to prevent any leakages. Please note that the Emblem (your choice of Corvette C5, Corvette C6, SS, SSR or Mobil) is not installed on the Oil Cap, the reason for this is that you need to install the Oil Cap first, and then peel and stick the emblem, so you can position the Oil Cap Emblem in the correct direction!

[REAL CARBON FIBER]The correct name is CFRP (Carbon Fiber Reinforced Polymers). Reinforcement gives CFRPs their Strength and Rigidity, Lightweight and Appearance makes it a "must have". Carbon Fiber Reinforced Plastics are very hard to machine and can have a risk of small visual errors (especially around the edges and corners), which have to be accepted as is!

[ALUMINUM]When exposed to air, aluminum quickly forms an oxide layer that makes it corrosion-resistant. However, various substances such as salts or acids can have a decomposing effect on the material (e.g. salty sea air, sea water, dissolved grit, skin sweat), which is why we recommend cleaning and impregnating the surface regularly, e.g. with a suitable sealant!
[WARRANTY]This item is subject to a 24-month statutory warranty in accordance with Section § 437 BGB of the German Civil Code (» see Terms & Conditions «). Besides there is no additional guaranty from the manufacturer. The guarantee period begins with the handover of the product to the guarantee holder. The warranty obligation is subject to the law of the Federal Republic of Germany!
