Hood Ram Air Stalker (1214) 10-12 Ford Mustang

This functional Ram Air Hood from Cervinis Auto Designs is made of Fiberglass and has a finished underside liner, which adds extra strength of the hood and can be painted for a show quality appearance. Bolts on utilizing OEM hood hinges, latch and hardware. Windshield washer squirters are relocated and hidden under the hood. Cervini’s sells an add-on Ram Air Conversion Kit (see below) that can be easily installed to turn the Mustang hood into a functional showpiece. Add significant horsepower with this one simple mod. Important Note : This hood is made of fiberglass, so we can only recommend to use additional hood pins (hood locks see below), because the S197 Mustang has the known problem from the factory, that the air pressure inside the engine compartment is very high, so the OEM hood often shakes while driving. In at least one case it has happened that the hood lock broke out of the fiberglass hood and the hood pops-up during driving. Anyone can imagine what this means, so PLEASE USE HOOD PINS!!! - We do not cover any damages that could be avoided when using hood pins, so it will be on your OWN RISK!!!
