Because of these properties, car parts are often coated with chrome for protection and decoration. When it comes to caring for chrome surfaces, less is often more. Avoid aggressive cleaners that can damage the chrome. Instead, you should use mild cleaning products such as dishwashing liquid or a special chrome polish (see below)!
