Item Number: SSR-11013The Front Fascia of the Chevy SSR is made of a flexible Urethane that has considerable movement while driving. You can see the movement by grabbing hold of the bumper below the running lights and observing the flex in the system. Like bending a coat hanger back and forth, this movement can cause paint damage over time. What the Stabilizer from Simple Engineering does, is connect the lower part of the bumper to the frame, giving a completely stable and solid look and feel to the car. The Stabilizer is custom formed to match the curve of the bottom of the bumper and is made of Stainless Steel and will never rust. This is important to protect the integrity or your Chevy SSR!
